Sustainability Coordinator
Careerscape is working with an Athens organization that needs a Sustainability Coordinator to develop and implement environmental initiatives. You'll create programs that reduce waste, conserve energy, and promote sustainable practices.
Our client is committed to environmental leadership and gives their coordinator resources and support. This is meaningful work where you make measurable environmental impact. Lead sustainability efforts while advancing environmental goals.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability programs and initiatives
- Track and report on environmental metrics and goals
- Conduct waste audits and identify reduction opportunities
- Coordinate recycling and composting programs
- Educate staff and stakeholders on sustainable practices
- Research and recommend green technologies and practices
- Prepare sustainability reports and communications
- Collaborate with facilities and operations teams
- Organize environmental awareness events and campaigns
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 2-4 years of sustainability or environmental program experience
- Knowledge of sustainability best practices and metrics
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting
- Passion for environmental conservation
- Creative problem solver with innovative thinking
- Ability to influence and inspire behavior change
