About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Bluebix Health Inc to find a qualified GI Lab RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30301!
The GI Lab RN provides care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
Department: 703A GI LabKey Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for GI procedures (e.g., endoscopy, colonoscopy)
Monitor vital signs and patient condition during procedures
Assist physicians during procedures
Administer medications, including sedation
Provide pre- and post-procedure care and patient education
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
Respond to emergencies and manage complications
Document patient care and procedure details accurately

Required ACLS. BLS The Endoscopy Lab at the Atlanta hospital supports all endoscopic procedures for the Gastroenterology & Pulmonology service lines, to include colorectal and bariatric surgery. Procedures include, but are not limited to colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and Bronchoscopies.
