Production Manager - Manufacturing Plant Camilla, Georgia
Production Manager – Manufacturing Plant Camilla, Georgia We are looking for a Production Manager to coordinate the operations of a manufacturing plant in Camilla, Georgia. The person joining the team will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are produced and delivered on time, in full, and with the required quality, coordinating raw material supply, production planning, and outbound logistics. We are seeking a person with strong organizational skills, results orientation, and experience in manufacturing or agro-industrial environments. We are looking for a profile with extensive experience in managing manufacturing or food processing plants, proven leadership in managing mid-sized teams (40–100 employees), strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work closely with senior management and executive teams. Main Responsibilities Planning and Procurement Oversee daily plant operations, including production, personnel, and logistics Receive orders from the commercial team Plan production based on demand Manage the purchase of supplies and coordinate with suppliers Ensure compliance with industry requirements, food safety, and regulations Drive plant performance to support company expansion goals Lead and manage a team of approximately 55 employees Operational Coordination Organize and supervise plant operational processes Coordinate the work of the team responsible for purchasing, supplier payments, and logistics records Oversee control of supplies, raw materials, and inventory Production and Process Improvement Support continuous improvement of operational processes Identify efficiency opportunities to reduce losses and optimize resources
