About the Role

This position is located in our Atlanta office not remotely.

The Global Head of Network Services is a senior leadership role responsible for setting the strategic vision architecture and engineering direction of AIGs global network services as well as the end-to-end network operations. This role oversees the full lifecycle of networkingincluding Core Network Services Common Network Services Carrier Services Data Network Services Branch Networking Voice and Contact Center Serviceswith a strong emphasis on modernization cloud readiness automation and performance optimization.

In addition this leader will drive a comprehensive multi-year network transformation initiative positioning the AIGs technology infrastructure to meet evolving business demands enhance digital experiences and ensure resilient high-performing connectivity globally. This leader will also be a senior member of the Infrastructure Services leadership team.

Responsibilities

Global Network Strategy

• Define and drive aglobal network strategyaligned with AIGs broader technology and business objectives with a focus oncloud enablement agility security and cost optimization.

• Lead the planning and execution of amulti-year network transformation program shifting the organization towardsoftware-defined automated scalable and intelligent network platforms.

• Champion anetwork as a service mindset focusing on user experience seamless access and measurable outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

Network Architecture Engineering and Security

• Oversee architecture and engineering for services includingDNS DHCP ITAM SD-WAN SDDC Cloud Connectivity WAN Voice Contact Center NAC/Wireless and Network Security.

• Drive adoption ofcloud-native and hybrid network architectures supporting scalable and secure connections across public cloud providers and on-prem environments.

• Establish governance and technical standards that ensureresiliency performance security and complianceacross all network domains.

• Own the holistic network security strategy ensuring security is embedded across architecture engineering and operationsfrom access controls and segmentation to zero trust and threat detection capabilities.

• Partner closely with the Cybersecurity team to align network security controls with enterprise security architecture regulatory requirements and threat intelligence.

Network Transformation and Partnerships

• Lead network transformation programs and engages in initiatives with a network services requirement. Define the strategic direction for Network Services including short/mid/long term network initiatives to achieve the desired results.

• Drive the evaluation and integration ofemerging and modern network technologiesinto the enterprise architecture.

• Identify and implementautomation and orchestration frameworksto reduce operational overhead increase agility and improve time-to-resolution.

• Manage strategic partnerships withglobal network service providers and technology vendorsto drive innovation cost efficiency and service excellence.

• Lead joint planning with vendors to optimize network delivery models ensure SLA adherence and accelerate transformation goals.

Network Operations

• Oversee end-to-end network operations ensuring reliable high-performance and secure connectivity across all global sites. Accountable for operational excellence and continuous service improvement in partnership with strategic vendors.

• Drive network incident management root cause analysis and problem resolution ensuring high service availability and rapid recovery in collaboration with other IT teams.

• Define and enforces standards for network monitoring observability as well as network KPIs and operational SLAs.

Network Team Management

• Serve as a key advisor to the CTO and IT Leadership Team. Represent Network Services in technology leadership forums and global strategic planning sessions.

• Build and lead ahigh-performing global teamof network architects and engineers; foster a culture of innovation accountability and continuous learning.

• Promote diversity equity and inclusion within the network team and the broader IT organization.

Requirements

• 20 years of experience in IT leadership with at least 10 years in a global leadership role leading network engineering network operations and/or network security functions

• Proven track record of delivering Strong decision making problem solving and crisis management skills

• Experience with high-speed wireless zero trust architecture and software-defined networking firewalls cloud computing and network automation

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best-practices related to large global enterprise networks

• Experience with network performance monitoring troubleshooting and capacity planning tools

• Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of business and IT alignment

• Strong communication skills able to share complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field with the following preferred certifications: Cisco CCIE Juniper JNCIE or equivalent expert-level certificiation AWS/Azure Networking Specialty PMP or PRINCE2 certification desirable

• Experience working in the Insurance/Financial Services or large-scale business operations where uptime and continuous availability was critical.
