Flexibly cover multiple locations as needed, including Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy sites.

Assist with processing and handling specimens as directed by supervisors, ensuring compliance with laboratory requirements.

Demonstrate leadership qualities by promoting process excellence and maintaining high standards of performance under minimal supervision.

Maintain a dependable schedule, arriving punctually and staying through scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as required.

Required Skills:

Proven proficiency in venipuncture and capillary blood collection, with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Ability to draw blood from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients with skill and confidence.

Strong understanding of specimen handling, labeling procedures, and laboratory safety protocols.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures and provide compassionate care.

Superior customer service skills and the ability to foster trust with patients and team members.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure settings.

Accurate keyboard and data entry skills for specimen documentation and tracking.

Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record if travel between sites is required.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Nice to Have Skills:

Medical assistant certification, paramedic training, or related medical training.

Experience in a clinical medical assistant role or as a healthcare technician.

Knowledge of healthcare operations and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Prior experience in a patient service center or clinical setting, particularly with pediatric and geriatric populations.

Hands-on experience with phlebotomy equipment, specimen processing, and lab standards.

Other Requirements:

Ability to travel between multiple clinic sites with minimal notice, often on short shifts.

Must list home city and commute time on your resume; proximity within 20-25 minutes preferred.

Reliable personal transportation; being dropped off via rideshare or public transit is not considered reliable.

Demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality, safety, and professional integrity.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform venipuncture, and handle specimens.

This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to become an essential part of a compassionate healthcare team, making a real difference in patients’ lives every day.
