Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and organize staff to ensure efficient production of manufactured products.
• Train, guide, and communicate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring progress, and resolving issues as they arise.
• Enforce production standards to maintain high-quality service and output.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and evaluate new equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean work environment by educating personnel on safety protocols and ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with multiple shifts to ensure seamless operations across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably overseeing teams of 25 to 50 tradespeople.
• Strong background in welding and metal fabrication, with experience in heavy structures fabrication and welding (100 to 500 tons).
• Familiarity with AISC standards.
• Excellent oral communication, team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective guidance and direction with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality.
• Proven ability to deliver business results independently and through others.
