Devops analyst

Job Description

A financial client is looking to add a fullstack developer with an emphasis in DevOps to their team as as a member of an Agile Scrum or Kanban team to design, code, test, document, and ultimately deliver high performing software solutions to technical problems. They are working with the software developers to build and maintain software systems. They are expected to work with the team, the business and partners to achieve goals and meet deadlines. This includes working to understand and solve the business problems through the expert application of technology while adhering to the technical vision of the company.

This role is a 6 month contract to hire. The expectation is that this individual will convert full time, pending performance. Annual salary expectations are from 80,000-105,000. Please note that pay will be negotiated and numbers can fluctuate depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements

• This person should be an expert in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• High proficiency in managing branch and release strategies

• A strong background in automation

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years' experience coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting through the application development process

• Experience that demonstrates the ability to solve technical problems and deliver software solutions

• Strong ability and desire to learn, improve, and solve problems

• Experience using common development tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git, Visual Studio, or similar

• Understanding of secure coding practices including the OWASP top 10

• Project management experience delivering work as a developer or other software team member

• Proficient knowledge of modern software development practice, concepts, technology obtained through formal training and work experience

• Comfortable with development interfaces and tools as well as strong knowledge of computers and peripherals

• Experience with Microsoft .NET

• Experience with Angular (Version 20 or similar)

• Experience with Typescript

• Experience with multiple JavaScript libraries - Experience developing software using Web Services, JSON, XML, CSS, HTML

• Proficiency in C#, JavaScript and SQL

• Experience developing in MS SharePoint

• Experience developing in MS Dynamics CRM

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager

• Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
