Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney

We are partnering with a large international law firm seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office . This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate (4–6 years of experience) to work on complex, high-profile corporate transactions within a nationally recognized M&A and Corporate Finance practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sophisticated M&A projects and transaction timelines.
• Prepare and negotiate equity and asset purchase agreements and related documentation.
• Conduct and summarize legal due diligence for M&A transactions, including private equity and private target deals.
• Collaborate closely with clients, investment bankers, and advisors to drive transactions to completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure smooth execution of deals.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admitted to GA Bar
• 4–6 years of experience in corporate or M&A matters within a reputable law firm.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and client management skills.
• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
