As an LTAC Registered Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
• Providing care for patients and management of their conditions, with regard to vital signs and lab work
• Collaborating with Physicians and various disciplines within the hospital in order to manage patient care
• Assisting the medical staff with in-house procedures
• Interacting and communicating with patient family members

A few must-haves for Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in GA
• Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience in LTAC, ICU, CCU or Med Surg Tele
• Hospital experience, acute care / LTAC preferred
• Ability to assess patients quickly in emergency situations in stressful environments
• Team, detail and goal oriented
• Positive, professional and empathetic demeanor
