We believe in supporting individuals through the challenges of mental health and substance use disorders by providing comprehensive, client-centered care. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Team Lead in our Georgia location. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and resiliency.

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, the Team Lead is responsible for completing comprehensive intakes and assessments with individuals diagnosed with mental health (MH), substance abuse (SA), or co-occurring disorders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive intake and assessments with MH/SA or co-occurring consumers, families, and collateral agencies to identify individual needs, strengths, and social/medical history.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment and recovery/resiliency plans based on consumer-identified goals.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling as needed to support consumers.
  • Serve as a liaison with Mental Health Court and Probate Court as required.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and support consumers at risk of self-harm, harm to others, or property damage by addressing immediate concerns and developing alternative service links.
  • Prevent out-of-home placement or hospitalization by addressing crises and stabilizing consumers in their current environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date core and continuing education hours by attending relevant training, conferences, and workshops.
  • Be available 24/7 to provide support via telephone or face-to-face interventions in any setting.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of community resources and the ability to connect consumers with appropriate services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse populations.
  • An understanding of cultural diversity and its impact on the recovery process.
