About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified PCU / Stepdown RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30301!
We are seeking experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown RNs for a high-acuity medical stepdown unit in a busy acute care hospital setting.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes: Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and care for patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications, cardiac drips, and treatments as ordered
- Perform patient assessments and respond to condition changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred
