D1 Training is an athletic-based group training facility for adults and youth athletes ages 7 and up, dedicated to helping athletes achieve their fitness goals efficiently and consistently. We are seeking high-energy, dynamic Coaches who:
- Thrive in a fun and exciting environment and know how to make fitness engaging for all.
- Can capture attention and keep athletes motivated and inspired.
- Are active on social media or willing to establish a presence to help boost our gyms brand.
- Have sport-specific experience*? (e.g., former baseball player, collegiate basketball star, soccer MVP etc.) that adds a unique perspective to training. We are interested!
- Love building relationships and fostering community among athletes.

Job Summary
The Coach will work directly with athletes to:
- Foster a positive and motivating environment for athletes of all levels.
- Deliver best-in-class coaching, training, and accountability.
- Build and maintain relationships with athletes to ensure long-term retention and success.
- Provide engaging, sport-specific training experiences tailored to individual and group goals.
- Represent D1s energy and culture both on and off the training floor.

Responsibilities:
- Coach group workouts, personal training sessions, and team training.
- Motivate athletes and keep workouts fun, dynamic, and challenging.
- Modify and adapt movements to meet athletes needs and abilities.
- Build community through events and competitions, both inside and outside the gym.
- Promote D1 Trainings programs on social media to inspire new athletes and engage with the community.
- Help athletes reduce the risk of injury by teaching proper form and technique.

Qualifications:
- High-energy personality with excellent communication skills.
- Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
- At least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.
- Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training.
- Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
- Former athlete or experience in sport-specific training (preferred).
- Social media presence or willingness to establish one to amplify the D1 brand.

Compensation:
Hourly + Commissions
