We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Plumber to provide hands-on plumbing maintenance and repair across commercial facilities throughout the North Atlanta area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled plumbing professional who enjoys variety, solving problems in the field, and taking ownership of their work.
You’ll work on a wide range of plumbing systems, performing both preventative and corrective maintenance while helping keep critical facility systems operating safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
Operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing systems
Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on water and sewer systems
Perform backflow testing and certifications
Plan and execute plumbing installations, repairs, testing, and maintenance
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and identify effective repair solutions
Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing schematics, and technical documentation
Work with facility teams and customers to determine the safest and most effective approach to assignments
Accurately document work orders and maintenance activities in a CMMS in real time
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Follow OSHA standards, local plumbing codes, environmental requirements, and company safety procedures
Work independently while proactively communicating with management
Assist with general maintenance and other trades when needed
What We’re Looking For
Required:
Valid state driver’s license
Plumbing Journeyman’s License and/or applicable state plumbing license
Current backflow certification or ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of OSHA standards and applicable local plumbing codes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and required equipment
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physically demanding work
Preferred:
Knowledge of MEP systems and their applications
Experience using CMMS/work order management systems
Commercial facilities or building maintenance experience
Previous service-plumbing experience
The Work Environment
This is an active, hands-on mobile position. You should be comfortable working in a variety of commercial facility environments, including confined spaces, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, rooftops, and elevated areas.
The role may involve:
Lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds
Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting, and overhead work
Working from heights and climbing ladders while carrying tools
Working in extreme hot and cold conditions
Driving for extended periods throughout the service area
Participating in on-call rotations, emergency call-ins, and overtime as needed
