Asphalt Foreman
We are looking for a dependable Asphalt Foreman to support our current and future roadway and transportation projects. This role requires working outdoors and managing a team of employees in various positions; directly impacting construction quality and project timelines

Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage crews
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Subcontractors
- Oversee equipment and materials
- Enforce safety policies and procedures
- Administrative Duties
- Ability to provide feedback to crew members
- Follow safety procedures on active construction sites and around traffic
- Follow all company policies per Employee Handbook
- Follow all company safety policies outlined in the Employee Safety Manuel
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 3 years as a Foreman and 10+ years of experience in asphalt paving preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, understand asphalt paving methods, and operate equipment
- Ability to understand grades, construction layouts and possess detailed knowledge of GDOT specifications
- Familiar with electronic grade control for paver systems
- Strong organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills to manage crews effectively
- Basic math skills and attention to details
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid drivers license and second form of ID
- Clean driving record
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Ability to carry 50lbs
- Able to safely walk uneven terrain
- Professional Attitude and Conduct
- High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
- Willing to travel and work away from home when and if required
- Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by Pittman Construction Safety Policies and Procedures and OSHA
- Be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of the working environment
- Random and Suspicion Drug tests are performed
