This assignment places an experienced OR nurse in a clinical operating room environment with a primary focus on neuro and orthopedic procedures, with robotics exposure as needed. The role is a temporary travel assignment with a defined 13-week duration and a consistent 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for neuro and orthopedic procedures, with occasional robotics cases
- Prepare patients, position safely, and maintain sterile technique throughout all phases of surgery
- Scrub, circulate, and assist surgeons and anesthesia team; manage instrumentation and implants
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively; document procedures, implants, and intraoperative events
- Ensure efficient room turnover and accurate handoffs to PACU, maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and evidence-based practices in the OR

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association)
- Demonstrated expertise in neuro and orthopedic procedures; robotics experience is a plus
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to the OR environment
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and comply with assignment requirements
