Store Manager

As a Store Manager, you will drive results through servant leadership, an ownership mindset, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. You’ll be responsible for building a dynamic team of stylists and managers who provide customers with a world-class shopping experience and help them look and feel their absolute best. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, interview, and onboard top-tier talent who are passionate about fashion and customer experience Train, mentor, and retain high-performing team members and managers Foster a positive, energized, and fashion-forward store atmosphere Elevate the selling culture by promoting and enforcing AKIRA’s 5 Steps of Selling Provide consistent, real-time feedback and written evaluations to drive performance Motivate and inspire your team to exceed personal and store sales goals Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory, and customer service Uphold all company policies and procedures with fairness and consistency Lead by example and champion AKIRA’s Code of Conduct and 4 Core Principles Take ownership of the store’s daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics Qualifications: 1+ year of retail store management experience A deep passion for fashion and a strong eye for current trends Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and developing successful teams High energy, a strong work ethic, and a results-driven mindset Strong organizational and communication skills A hands-on, proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Ability to adapt quickly to changes and new challenges Expertise in visual merchandising, customer service standards, and store operations Experience with inventory management, loss prevention, retail systems, and budgeting A collaborative spirit, capable of fostering sustainable, trust-based relationships Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs, as needed Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods, including 10–12 hour shifts
