Middle School RTIMTSS Interventionist
Orleans Central Supervisory Union is looking for a Middle School RTI/MTSS Interventionist. This position would be for the remainder of the school Middle School RTI/MTSS Interventionist provides targeted academic and behavioral support to ensure all students meet grade-level expectations and demonstrate growth toward proficiency. Working in collaboration with teachers families students and support staff the Interventionist designs delivers and monitors effective interventions in literacy and mathematics. The position plays a key role in implementing a comprehensive Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) aligned with OCSU and state expertise in evidence-based intervention strategies for literacy math and SEL at the middle school understanding of adolescent development and engagement using data systems (e.g. EduClimber IXL Smart Score) to identify student needs monitor progress and inform to equity inclusion and culturally responsive ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Assessment and IdentificationConduct diagnostic formative and benchmark assessments to identify student needs across academic multiple data sources to design individualized and small-group intervention in school-level data and EST meetings to review student progress and determine next steps.2. Intervention Design and DeliveryProvide Tier 3 research-based interventions in literacy and/or both push-in and pull-out support aligned with core and implement lesson plans that address specific learning gaps and build foundational SEL and executive function strategies within intervention accurate records of interventions and student progress in EduClimber or other data systems.3. Collaboration and ConsultationPartner with classroom teachers counselors special educators and paraprofessionals to coordinate to the design of school-wide intervention systems and regularly with families about student progress and at-home support coaching or professional learning to staff on effective intervention and progress monitoring practices.4. Equity and InclusionPromote equitable access to learning by addressing barriers to student for inclusive practices and support culturally responsive in reflective practice to ensure interventions meet the diverse needs of all learners.5. Data Management and ReportingCollect analyze and report student progress data to inform instructional data to evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for reports for school leadership and contribute to continuous improvement processes.6.
