SENIOR COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER & ESTIMATOR

We are currently hiring a Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager & Estimator with a minimum of 20 years of experience to join our team at our headquarters in Alpharetta, GA . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing commercial construction projects and possess strong estimating and quantity take-off skills, along with hands-on construction experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead preconstruction activities including subcontractor bidding, buy-out, contract negotiation, and scheduling
• Perform conceptual and detailed quantity estimating and take-offs
• Oversee construction start-up and close-out processes
• Track job costs and prepare financial projections
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
• Coordinate with field project managers and superintendents on scheduling and execution
• Collaborate with internal design-build team members and external engineers
• Manage RFIs and change orders (client and subcontractor)
• Conduct client meetings and presentations
• Develop and maintain construction schedules
• Manage punch lists and ensure project completion
• Conduct occasional site visits across the southeastern United States

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 20 years of experience in commercial construction project management and estimating
• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and field operations
• Proven financial management skills with the ability to forecast budgets and deliver projects on time and within budget
• Ability to interpret construction documents including drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general jobsite safety practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Commitment to quality and customer service
• Proficiency in project management and estimating software (e.g., Procore, AutoDesk Build, ProEst, WinEst)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
