Sr. Sourcing Manager, Equipment & Indirect Service

- Identify new/alternate equipment for new build/existing restaurants, test markets and national rollouts in collaboration with the Zaxbys Ops Services and broader project team (ex. back of house equipment rollouts, value engineering)
- Partner with the Sr. Director, Capital & Indirect Procurement on sourcing equipment items at or below targeted cost via an established and prospective equipment supplier base based on product specifications, quality, service levels, and industry conditions.
- Partner with the Sr. Director, Capital & Indirect Procurement and equipment supplier leadership to develop pertinent production and rollout schedules to achieve targeted completion dates
- Complete PO management to meet required timelines
- Monitor production, shipping and delivery confirmation; resolve product supply challenges in accordance with established timelines
- Lead weekly Equipment Project Team success routines with the Sr. Director, Capital & Indirect Procurement utilizing a leadership shadow of transparency and collaboration (ex. weekly cross functional meeting, Supplier 1:1s, etc.)
- Conduct pertinent reporting and administration (ex. repository for OEM agreements complete with top 80% of spend, equipment tracker/scorecard, supply plans, spare parts stocking and key service and spend analysis performance indicators such as % shipped/delivered, warranty and service performance, billing, etc.)
- Maintain the New Restaurant Equipment/FFE Package in collaboration with Zaxbys Ops Services and Construction/Design Teams, suppliers, and key contacts
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost of all required restaurant equipment and construction materials through efficient purchasing processes including assuming expanded Supply Chain Team Leadership scope in areas such as furniture, signage, and digital menu boards
- Enhance supplier relationships via clear performance standards, joint improvement initiatives, and actively soliciting formal feedback from Zaxbys Company restaurants and Franchisees
- Identify essential smallwares for new build/existing restaurants, test markets and national rollouts in collaboration with Zaxbys Ops Services and broader project team.
- Lead smallwares sourcing efforts at or below targeted project team cost via an established and prospective smallware supplier base based on product specifications, quality, service levels, and industry conditions
- Oversee PO and Autoship Management to meet required timelines
- Monitor production, shipping and delivery confirmation; resolve product supply challenges in accordance with established timelines
- Conduct pertinent reporting and administration (ex. smallwares tracker, stocking agreements and key performance indicators such as % shipped/delivered, billing, etc.)
- Lead weekly smallwares project team success routines with a leadership shadow of transparency and collaboration (ex. weekly cross functional meeting, supplier 1:1s, etc.)
- Maintain the New Restaurant Smallwares Ordering package in collaboration with the Ops Services team including suppliers/key contact list
- Enhance supplier development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives and actively soliciting formal feedback from Zaxbys Company stores and Franchisees
- Identify pertinent and value added indirect and service programs for Zaxbys Company restaurant/franchisee organizations (ex. facilities management) and Zaxbys corporate indirect spend (ex. travel and expense programs) in collaboration with the Sr. Director, Capital & Indirect Procurement
- Co-lead development of recommended service program implementation to Zaxbys leadership in collaboration with the Sr. Director, Capital & Indirect Procurement
- Conduct pertinent reporting and administration (ex. services tracker, stocking agreements and key performance indicators, etc.)
- Lead weekly services project team success routines with a leadership shadow of transparency and collaboration (ex. weekly cross functional meeting, supplier 1:1s, etc.)
- Maintain services portfolio of contracts including suppliers/key contact list
- Track record of building positive and strong foundational working relationships amongst internal and external cross functional teams via a leadership shadow of transparency and collaboration
- Exceptional planning and project management skills, including constructing and executing detailed action plans consisting of what/who/by when along with pertinent follow up/recognition/accountability success routines
- Strong capability to perform research, conduct financial analysis and develop recommendations for project team/leadership consideration
- Successful sourcing experience along with sales and operations planning (ex. supply & related contingency planning), supplier management and other procurement principles
- Self-directed with dedicated work ethic in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry equipment/smallwares/indirect and sources of supply
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of leadership
- Experience with chain concept distribution
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management in a multi-unit foodservice and/or food equipment organization
