Position Overview: We seek a dedicated and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities: • Document Collection and File Management: Assist in gathering, organizing, and maintaining legal documents and case files to ensure accuracy and accessibility. • File Clerk Duties: Maintain an organized filing system, both electronic and physical, to support efficient case management. • Courier Services: Safely and promptly deliver legal documents to courts, clients, and other stakeholders as required. • Administrative Support: Handle office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars. Responsibilities: • Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly • Make travel arrangements, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events • Assist with the creation of various litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents a needed Qualifications: • Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment • Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position About Company: The Wright Legal Group, LLC is an award-winning law firm based in Columbus, Georgia.
