• Education/Training : Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred; food safety and sanitation certification required.

• Experience :

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive kitchen experience, including supervisory or lead cook roles.

  • Previous experience in high-volume banquets, catering, or hotel/resort kitchens strongly preferred.

• Culinary Skills :

  • Proficient in menu planning, recipe development, and large-scale food production.

  • Strong knowledge of international and regional cuisines, buffet and plated service styles.

  • Ability to maintain consistency, flavor, and presentation across high-volume events.

• Leadership & Management :

  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a culinary team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

  • Skilled in scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and cost control.

• Other Requirements :

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with front-of-house and event staff.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by banquet schedules.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot kitchen environments.
