Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school environment located in Fort Benning, GA. This contract position spans the full school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment, and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Fort Benning, Georgia
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Deliver direct therapy and provide support services within the school setting
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with teachers and families
