Forklift/ Warehouse Worker
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 2nd Shift Forklift/Warehouse Worker to join our team in Lagrange, GA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials and maintaining an organized workspace. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
