Travel Occupational Therapist Job
- Role and responsibilities: As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll perform comprehensive OT evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving activities of daily living, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive function. You’ll design adaptable therapy programs for diverse populations, including pediatrics and adults, and collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff to coordinate care. You’ll assess home and work environments, recommend adaptive equipment or environmental modifications, provide caregiver training, and maintain meticulous documentation to support progress and regulatory compliance. You’ll also participate in discharge planning and community reintegration, ensuring smooth transitions for clients and their families. - Professional growth: The assignment emphasizes opportunities to expand your scope within occupational therapy, with access to mentorship, continuing education resources, and potential specialization tracks in areas such as hand therapy, cognitive rehab, pediatrics, or sensory integration. You’ll gain exposure to multiple practice settings, refine your clinical reasoning, and build leadership capabilities as you collaborate with teams across shifts and sites. The experience is designed to accelerate your proficiency, confidence, and reputation as a versatile OT. - Benefits and compensation: Expect competitive weekly pay ranging from $1,917 to $2,024, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. In addition to robust compensation, you’ll receive a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease relocation and travel challenges. The program offers extension opportunities, enabling you to extend your assignment if you choose, and the possibility to return for additional placements that align with your career goals. A dedicated engagement team provides 24/7 support while you travel, ensuring rapid assistance with scheduling, site navigation, or any on-the-ground needs that arise. You’ll also have access to travel resources, referral bonuses, and a structured path for ongoing professional development. - Comprehensive support: The company prides itself on empowering clinicians through reliable, round-the-clock support. From initial onboarding through ongoing assignments, you’ll never face a complex logistics challenge alone. A dedicated operations and clinical support team is available 24/7, offering scheduling flexibility, immediate help with site orientations, and guidance on licensure, credentialing, and compliance. You’ll have access to housing arrangements, travel stipends if applicable, and a streamlined process for extension opportunities so you can plan your next professional chapter with clarity.
