Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platforms and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation of workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to define the development.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in one or more areas such as software development, software quality engineering, software testing, DevOps, cybersecurity, software release, support and maintenance, and/or release management, with limited supervision.
• Testing and troubleshooting the final system setup and ensuring its successful rollout through training and retraining the customers and providing subsequent ongoing support and services.
• Ensuring that all required resources are in place to implement software on-time and on-budget.
• Contributing to the software product roadmap and portfolio through suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems (preferred) with 6+ years of experience, including 3+ years supporting production environments in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Hands-on experience with digital manufacturing and industrial IT/OT systems, including AI-enabled solutions, continuous improvement methods, and operational system delivery.
• Proven ability to sustain and improve production‑critical systems, responding to operational needs while improving reliability, usability, and plant impact.
• Working knowledge of MES, IoT platforms, ERP (e.g., SAP), cloud-native architectures, AI/ML analytics, system integrations, and modern software frameworks.
• Strong ownership mindset and communication skills, with the ability to manage change, document and transfer knowledge, and collaborate effectively across operations, engineering, and leadership teams (Lean Six Sigma Certifications - Preferred).
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
