**Job Title: Mechanical Technician**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Technician where you will work alongside other team members to perform on-site valve and pump rebuilds, and provide support for various on-site services. This role is integral in supporting the growth of our business and fulfilling our customer's needs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform on-site valve rebuilds and positive displacement pump rebuilds.
+ Support other on-site services such as homogenizers and scrape surface heat exchangers.
+ Unpack shipment deliveries and perform a three-way match of packing list to the parts received and purchase order.
+ Process inventory replenishment orders to ensure proper storage in warehouse locations.
+ Execute cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are accurately reflected in the system.
+ Manage shipment requirements including 'ship complete', 'freight collect', and 'partial shipments'.
+ Schedule trucks for LTL and dedicated truckload shipments to maintain project deadlines.
+ Prepare large equipment shipments by building crates and frames for protection during shipping.
+ Process pick tickets for process components and parts pulled from inventory warehouse.
+ Package and ship parts orders to fulfill inside sales team orders.
+ Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, parts catalog updates, and document filing and archiving.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience using hand tools and power tools.
+ Strong mechanical understanding and aptitude.
+ Experience in maintenance tasks like tear downs and reassembly.
+ Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
+ Hardworking, self-motivated, and focused with a sense of urgency.
+ Ability to read and understand manuals for various equipment.
+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
+ Ability to learn various business processes and procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to operate a forklift.
+ Experience in labeling, packing, and loading items for shipment.
+ Capability to inspect and unload delivery vehicles.
+ Willingness to travel and work on holidays and weekends.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alpharetta, GA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
