Job Summary:
Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position available in McDonough, Georgia. This role involves assisting in delivering therapeutic interventions designed to meet patients' long-term goals under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. The position is scheduled for start on July 6, 2026, with a daily shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Details:

• Location: McDonough, Georgia
• Shift: Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; CAPTE Certified; CPR Certification; active/applicable license for the state of Georgia; 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with outpatient populations; previous assignment with the agency or Select Medical is highly desired/nice to have
• Additional Information: The role involves implementing treatment goals, assisting in carrying out therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, balance exercises, joint mobility, pain relief, and functional skills training. The therapist will train patients in locomotion with assistive devices, demonstrate modalities including ultrasound and thermotherapy, monitor patient responses, and document progress. The employee will maintain a professional and safe treatment environment, collaborate with the healthcare team, and adhere to all safety and infection control policies.
