Registered Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)

Location: Atlanta, GA, 30329

Duration: 13 week contract

Shift: Night(12) | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,980; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA, for a 13-week night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and demonstrate proficiency in high-acuity environments such as the PICU, NICU, and ED .

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients.
• Perform routine and advanced respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management, airway care, and emergency resuscitation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy based on clinical assessments.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Float as needed to ICU, ED, and general pediatric care units.
• Provide respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center (Level II may be considered).

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
• Pediatric respiratory care experience required.
• Extensive experience in PICU, NICU, and ED settings.
• Experience in Level I Trauma Center highly preferred (Level II accepted).
• Must be comfortable with floating between units.
• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.

Certifications (All Required):

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC
• Active Georgia State License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
