React Developer

Akkodis is seeking a React Developer for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. Candidates must have strong React.js expertise while building new functional components and refactoring legacy components to modern standards .

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

React Developer job responsibilities include:

• Develop and enhance highly visible frontend features for enterprise web applications using React.js and functional components.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, designers, and engineering specialists to translate requirements into responsive, production‑ready UI solutions.

• Refactor existing class‑based components into modern functional components to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.

• Analyze design specifications, identify technical feasibility, and work with stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication and proper data handling.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives while supporting multiple concurrent projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development, including work in enterprise‑level environments.

• Strong hands‑on experience with React.js, including functional components, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and workflows such as Redux or Flux.

• Proven ability to build and enhance UI features while collaborating with cross‑functional product and engineering teams, with familiarity in RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS, and Agile methodologies.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
