Equipment Specialist
Seeking a qualified Equipment Specialist to support sustainment and lifecycle logistics operations in Albany, GA. This role focuses on daily logistics transactions, documentation, and system execution supporting material fielding, redistribution, accountability, and audit readiness. The position requires working within GCSS-MC and related logistics systems to ensure accurate and compliant actions.
This is a full-time Monday–Friday position. Availability during Government-established core hours is required. Position is contingent upon contract award. Anticipated start date: June 2026.
Primary Duties
Execute routine lifecycle logistics transactions
Prepare, review, and process logistics documentation (DD 1348, DD 1149, DD 1150, DD 250, and supporting documents)
Support material receipt, transfer, redistribution, and accountability actions within GCSS-MC
Validate item numbers, units of issue, pricing, quantities, and vendor documentation
Assist with MIPR and MILSTRIP actions and reconcile discrepancies
Coordinate with stakeholders to verify material movement and status
Maintain records to support audit readiness and traceability
Qualifications
2+ years of DoD logistics or sustainment experience
Working knowledge of GCSS-MC or similar DoD logistics systems
Familiarity with MILSTRIP documentation and DoD supply processes
Active Secret clearance required
