Overview
Surgical Tech | Travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Specialty: Surgical Tech. Start date: 05/04/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,372-$1,460 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week. Shift: 10-hour Day, 4 days per week (dayshift 6:45am–5:15pm) plus call, holidays, weekends; no block scheduling. Setting: hospital operating room in a high-acuity environment with Level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and maintaining a sterile field for procedures
- Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, retracting, suctioning, and maintaining specimen handling as required
- Maintain accurate instrument counts and ensure proper handling of implants and supplies
- Adhere to sterile technique, infection control policies, and safety protocols throughout cases
- Manage room turnover between procedures and assist with transportation of equipment and specimens
- Be available for call, holidays, and weekends as needed to support trauma-focused surgical care

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience; must be documented in work history as Level 1 trauma experience
- Strong rating on skills checklist
- Ability to work the dayshift schedule (6:45am–5:15pm) plus call, holidays, and weekends
- Prior operating room experience with instrument handling and sterile technique
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and comply with assignment requirements
