Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalist;Internal Medicine

. This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment, providing critical support to our healthcare system.
As a Locum Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in managing inpatient care, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal treatment plans are executed. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency of our medical practice and improving patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and formulate treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to coordinate care
- Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients
- Perform necessary procedures and interventions as required
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in Internal Medicine or Hospitalist roles preferred
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Daily Volume: 17.5 patients
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
