As an eCommerce Technician, you will be responsible for identifying high-value donated items for online sale, managing digital inventory, and ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. This role supports Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s mission by maximizing the value of donations through eCommerce platforms while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Your Typical Day:
- Identify High-Value Items: Sort donations and select items suitable for online sale, with careful evaluation and safe packaging.
- Manage Inventory & Fulfillment: Track inventory, process orders, and ensure accurate, timely shipping.
- Create Listings: Photograph merchandise and write clear, compelling descriptions to drive online sales.
- Research & Pricing: Use online tools to determine item value, especially for jewelry, collectibles, and art.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with leadership, participate in meetings, and support team goals.
- Maintain Workspace: Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with eCommerce trends and platform updates to improve operations.
- Support as Needed: Assist with additional tasks to ensure the success of the eCommerce team.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent job-related experience
- Prior eCommerce experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of jewelry, collectibles, and art; ability to assess value using online tools
- Proficient computer skills; experience with eCommerce platforms, shipping software, and payment systems
- Skilled in using a digital camera or smartphone for high-quality photography
- Excellent attention to detail and creative writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Quick learner with strong information retention and adaptability
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 40-60 pounds and stand for extended periods
