We are currently seeking an Old School Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic to become an essential part of our Restoration Team! You will remove, replace, repair, adjust, fabricate, relocate, and custom overhaul automotive vehicles.
SKILLS:
- Must have auto mechanic experience in pre-1988 classic cars, muscle cars and classic trucks
- Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Wiring, and Vintage Air knowledge
- Effective oral & written communication
- Multi task between several restoration projects
- Knowledge of how all things mechanical work and go together
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
- Engine Swaps: LS, Coyote, SBC, Mopar
- Engine/Transmission work
- Install/Repair: Carburetors, Holley EFI Snipers, Vintage Air Systems, Upgrades to Steering/Suspension, Wiring, etc.
- Assist with final assembly of vehicles (guts in a door, door glass, quarter windows, exterior mirrors, interior components)
- Discuss auto restoration builds with customer in person or when they call for an update
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3-5 years job experience as Automotive Technician
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic or auto restoration
- Knowledge and ability to run diagnostics and trouble shoot
- Strong mechanical aptitude for older vehicles (1930 - 1988)
- Detail oriented, able to meet a realistic deadline, multi task on several vehicles and able to be proactive and take the initiative
- Must have your OWN transportation & tools
- Reliable and efficient worker
- Respectful and Drug Free
