Certified Medical Assistant
- Must be willing to work in both Marietta and Woodstock (Towne Lake) locations
- Competency in basic medical assisting skills. Including, rooming patients, assisting provider with exams, answering phones, scheduling appointments and surgeries
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer skills including solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with medical software preferred.
- Positive, customer-focused approach, with a commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure & multi-task
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Update and maintain all digital client records
- Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history prior to each appointment
- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
- Work in the front office taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility
- Assist the nurse and office manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed
- Must maintain a professional appearance and grooming at all times
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Diploma from an accredited medical assistant program and Medical Assistant Certification required (CMA, RMA ).
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Prior experience working in a plastic surgery office or comparable medical office setting (Dermatology or Cosmetic Dentist)
