Social Media Manager
Salary:
$75,000 – $85,000 base salary + performance-based bonus (tied to audience growth, engagement, and content quality milestones)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and brand-focused Social Media Manager to lead and elevate the digital presence of a rapidly growing luxury automotive brand. This is not a scheduling-only role — this individual will serve as the steward of the brand’s voice, image, and community across 4M+ organic followers worldwide.
You will own the content strategy, direct the visual narrative, manage internal and external creative teams, and ensure every piece of content reflects the exclusivity, craftsmanship, and sophistication expected of a $300,000+ luxury vehicle brand. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional taste, and a deep understanding of how to build long-term brand equity in the luxury space.
Job Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Creative Direction
Own and execute the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms.
Develop a strategic content plan that balances storytelling, product showcases, behind-the-scenes production, client spotlights, and aspirational lifestyle content.
Direct and manage photography and video production (internal team and external contractors), including shoot briefs, creative direction, and final approvals.
Maintain and enforce a distinct visual and tonal brand identity across all platforms.
Write high-impact captions and copy that drive engagement, conversation, and brand affinity.
Oversee brand asset protection on social platforms, including watermarking, usage rights management, and intellectual property monitoring.
Community & Brand Management
Manage all social interactions including comments, DMs, tags, and mentions with a polished, luxury-level customer experience.
Identify and organically engage high-value followers, prospects, and aligned influencers.
Build authentic relationships with automotive and lifestyle content creators.
Monitor brand reputation across platforms and proactively manage feedback or potential issues.
Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling high-profile clients and unreleased vehicles.
Growth & Performance
Drive meaningful audience growth focused on quality over vanity metrics.
Track engagement, reach, follower growth, and conversion indicators; adjust strategy based on performance data.
Stay ahead of algorithm updates, trending formats, and emerging features.
Collaborate with sales and production teams to align content with inquiry generation and revenue impact.
Coordinate milestone content moments such as vehicle reveals, client deliveries, and production highlights.
Qualifications:
Required:
3–5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand (not personal accounts).
Demonstrated experience growing and engaging large audiences (500K+ preferred).
Experience leading creative teams and managing photographers, videographers, and contractors.
Strong short-form video editing skills (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and ability to direct long-form YouTube content.
Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to communicate to an affluent audience.
Proficiency with social scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, and basic paid social setup.
Experience in luxury, automotive, lifestyle, or other high-end consumer brands.
Preferred:
Background in premium or luxury automotive brands.
Portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling across platforms.
Experience with influencer partnerships in automotive or lifestyle sectors.
Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, etc.).
Experience managing paid social campaigns.
Familiarity with trademark monitoring and brand protection on digital platforms.
Experience managing content production budgets and multiple vendors simultaneously.
