Key Responsibilities of the PICU Registered Nurse

• Provide highly specialized care for infants, children, and adolescents in the PICU
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams

Requirements of the PICU Registered Nurse

• RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - Multi-state Compact license
• BLS or BLS-I certification
• PALS or PALS-I or PALS-P certification (180 Days)
• 2 years PICU experience required
• Associates Nursing required, Bachelor's Nursing preferred
• Ability to optimize technology and possess basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
