Accounts Payable Clerk

Peachtree Building Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for processing construction and corporate payables, managing utility accounts, handling vendor invoices, and supporting general accounting functions.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing invoices, check requests, and credit card charges

• Managing utilities (gas, electric, phone, internet, sales trailers)

• Maintaining vendor invoice files (open and closed)

• Copying, scanning, and organizing payables

• Receiving and distributing mail

• Assisting with additional accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience required

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

• Experience in homebuilding or construction preferred
