Compensation: $30/hour

Location: Remote (Not eligible in CA, ND, HI, AK, VT)

Looking to make a measurable impact from wherever you are? LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Complex Cardiology Coder who can hit the ground running. This Complex Cardiology Coder will own the coding process from documentation review to final abstraction, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the board.

What’s the job?

• Assign and sequence ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes for cardiology cases
• Analyze records to ensure accurate APC and E/M coding
• Perform detailed documentation reviews and data abstraction
• Support providers with coding clarification and compliance guidance
• Maintain strict confidentiality standards (HIPAA compliant)
• Participate in meetings, trainings and coding updates

What’s needed?

• AHIMA or AAPC certification required (CPC, CCS, RHIT, etc.)
• 2+ years of hands-on coding experience
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
• Proven ability to meet quality and productivity benchmarks
• Experience with EMR systems like Cerner, Optum or similar (preferred)
• Associate degree in HIM or related field (preferred)
