As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Overnight Shift in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and delivery personnel. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual activity, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activity at the front desk area.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
