Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 04/20/2026 for an 8-week contract, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Nights on a 2x3 schedule. Setting is an acute-care environment with ICU and IMCU components, with floating between units likely. Neuro-focused care required to support patients with neurological concerns in a high-acuity, multispecialty unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for neuro ICU and IMCU patients, including neuro assessments, monitoring, and timely escalation of changes in status
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered; manage equipment and lines (e.g., infusion devices, arterial/central lines) per unit protocol
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans; document in the electronic health record
- Respond to neuro emergencies, provide critical thinking support, and assist with appropriate interventions and patient education
- Float between ICU and stepdown units as needed, ensuring safe transitions and adherence to infection control standards
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, documentation accuracy, and family communication within a fast-paced environment

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia or eligible for licensure with Nursys verification
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU/IMCU experience
- Certification Card and ability to provide Nursys license verification
- Ability to work night shift (2x3 schedule) and float between ICU and stepdown units
- Strong neuro assessment skills and critical-thinking abilities
- Education: Graduation from an approved nursing program; RN licensure in Georgia
