**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
+ Monitor and report on security-related conditions, hazards, and/or unusual activity within the government location.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and the site.
+ Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while upholding the standards and expectations of Allied Universal.
+ Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel on site as needed, following established protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
