Summer Internship Program – Security Overview
Ready to make your mark in the world of investments? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 10-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2026 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry pros, and build connections that will last a lifetime.
In this internship, you’ll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and the inside scoop on what it’s really like to work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business.
Here’s the best part: crush your internship, and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation!
What to expect when you join
At Invesco, we thrive on collaboration and innovation. Our interns are part of a dynamic environment where diverse perspectives and bold ideas drive growth for our clients and communities. Through our convergence model, you will gain exposure to three critical teams—Strategic Intelligence, Crisis Management, and Third-Party Risk Management—providing a holistic view of risk, resilience, and strategic decision-making. A security convergence model unifies physical (cameras, access cards), cyber security (networks, data), strategic intelligence (threat assessments, trending issues), and enterprise resilience (third-party risk management, business continuity, crisis management) under one strategy, breaking down traditional silos to create a holistic, integrated system for better risk management, faster incident response, and centralized control.
What you’ll do
Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze data from internal systems and external intelligence sources to identify emerging risks.
Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards and reports integrating intelligence, crisis posture, and vendor risk metrics.
Research & Modeling: Support analysis for geopolitical, operational, and third-party risk scenarios.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline intelligence workflows and enhance crisis readiness.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for risk assessments, playbooks, and intelligence processes.
What you get
Matched to a Team – Get matched with a team within the Security organization at Invesco
A Launchpad for Your Career – Get ready to build real skills and set yourself up for a future at Invesco (and beyond).
Your Own Mentor – You’ll be paired with a mentor who’s got your back, answers your questions, and helps you navigate your summer.
