Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician — Forklifts and MEWP
Role at a Glance
Serve as a mobile expert keeping customers’ equipment running reliably while representing our brand on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment
- Identify and resolve technical issues quickly
- Provide exceptional customer service during each service call
- Accurately record work performed and assist with parts/inventory tracking
- Coordinate with teammates and management for seamless support
- Adopt and apply the latest diagnostic tools and technologies
- Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; technical degree or certifications are a plus
- Experience as a technician in Forklift, Heavy/Diesel, Automotive, Aerial Platforms (MEWP), or similar
- Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Strong communicator with excellent customer interaction skills
- Self-motivated and organized; effective time management
- Proficient with diagnostic equipment and software
- Valid driver’s license; comfortable traveling between customer sites
