Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Instructional aides are needed to provide essential support to students in a school setting. These per diem, as-needed roles offer flexible opportunities to work directly with students on a 1:1 basis, assisting teachers and staff in promoting academic, behavioral, and social development.

Location: Rossville, GA
Position Type: Per Diem / As-Needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group assistance to students under teacher direction
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass TB test and meet other school clearance requirements prior to starting
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented attitude
