Legal Administrative Assistant- Litigation
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Administrative Assistant to support a busy litigation team. This role requires a highly organized professional who can manage deadlines, documents, and communications in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and organize electronic and paper case files
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Handle e-filing and manage court submissions
Track discovery and manage document productions
Coordinate calls, meetings, depositions, and attorney calendars
Assist with trial preparation
Support billing, expense reports, and accounts receivable
Conduct initial conflicts checks and assist with opening/closing matters
Qualifications
3–5 years of litigation experience (civil defense)
Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with legal billing practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Experience with iManage, Filesite, Dropbox, or OneDrive is a plus
