Nurse Practitioner (FT) - South Fulton

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time or full-time Certified Nurse Practitioner in a new expanding state-of-the-art clinic. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to multitask and provide top notch customer service. The ideal candidate needs to have working availability during the week and/or weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts physical assessments,

• Performs and interpret diagnostic tests

• Diagnoses and treats common conditions

• Provides screenings, interventions, counseling, and prescribes medications as needed to patients

• Provides accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common family illnesses for patients

• Performs history and physical examinations and carries out appropriate intervention/procedures as determined by the plan of care.

• Coordinates care of assigned patients according to established Standards of Care.

• Respond to patient phone calls, make follow-up calls, and document in EMR.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Georgia License required

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required

• Current Basic Life Support (CPR, AED) certificates required

• Excellent communication and customer service skills required

• 3 years medical office experience preferred

• Proficient in EMR use

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and Safety guidelines
