This role is paying $25 an hour working 40 hours a week at minimal starting immediately. MUst be flexible to work any shift due to shift placement being based on Seniority and have a clean criminal background. 1.performs a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive tasks associated with electrical design and electro-mechanical testing of new equipment and new product prototypes.

• Communicates with internal and external customers.
• Provides technical assistance to other personnel in the operation of computers, electronic equipment and various test applications.
• Performs first level testing, using standard equipment, and analyzes results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustments.
• Builds, operates and modifies non-standard equipment and test fixtures. May recommend new equipment materials or procedures to improve product quality or reliability.
• Travels to various field site locations to assist with evaluation of system start-ups.
• Programs integrated circuits (ic chip, eprom, etc.).
• Performs mechanical calibration of systems and equipment.
• Develops fixturing and schematic drawings.
• Assists in writing, programming or modifying test specifications using standard procedures and/or computers.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components, particularly in low voltage environments.
• Calibrate and test equipment using precision measuring instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Work with logic controllers to program and troubleshoot automated systems.
• Conduct vision inspections to assess the quality of electrical installations and repairs.
• Utilize AutoCAD for designing and modifying electrical schematics as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to militarise systems for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment serviced.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in working with low voltage applications.
• Experience in calibrating equipment using precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with logic controllers for programming automated processes.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
• Knowledge of vision inspection systems for quality assurance in electrical work.
• Ability to militarise systems for improved functionality and performance.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for creating and modifying technical drawings.
• Experience using an ohmmeter for testing electrical resistance.
