What will you be doing?

• Preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and Habasit specific equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be cleared on any background screening
• English literacy
• High School Degree or GED
• Maintenance Experience (Trade School, Previous Employment, Certificates, etc.)
• High Competency of pneumatic and hydraulic components
• Knowledge of Basic Electrical / Electronic Circuits and Wiring
• Read and understand Mechanical Blueprints
• Ability to use a calculator and a tape measure.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must have working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Knowledge and/or skills for Metal Fabrication (Mig, Tig, Grinders, Saws, Tap-n-Die, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

• Fabrication & Welding: Design and build custom brackets, guards, and supports using various metals. Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and plasma cutting is required.
• Machining: Set up and operate manual shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses , to repair or replicate precision machine parts.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct systematic inspections and services on motors, conveyor systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Perform basic electrical tasks such as checking fuses, wiring motors (single and 3-phase), and troubleshooting control panels.
• Emergency Repairs: Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing root causes through blueprint and schematic analysis.
• Rigging & Installation: Assist in the moving and installation of heavy industrial machinery using hoists, forklifts, and rigging gear.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5+ years in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Technical Skills: Proven ability to operate manual machine tools and perform high-quality metal fabrication.
• Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and basic electrical diagrams.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various positions (climbing, kneeling, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Electrical Background: Experience with PLC ladder logic or industrial motor controls.
• Certifications: Industrial Maintenance Certification or OSHA 10/30 training.
