Maintenance Mechanic Job Description:
PrideStaff is partnering with a local manufacturing company who is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic will inspect, repair, and maintain specialized machinery and mechanical systems. The Maintenance Mechanic will troubleshoot and perform repairs or replacements to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime. The ideal Maintenance Mechanic has experience and an understanding of hand/power tools, mechanics, and hydraulics, and adheres to strict safety protocols. The Maintenance Mechanic is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Ft Worth, TX.
Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities:
Conduct Routine Maintenance, Teardowns, Inspections, & Diagnostics on Colloid Mills, Pumps, Valves, & Other Equipment When These Components Are Received by Our Customers
Service, Clean, & Fabricate Parts
Operate Hand & Power Tools to Complete Repairs
Organize Parts According to Project & Keep The Area Clean & Tools Organized
Clean, Polish & Paint All Components to Like New Quality. Assist in The Final Assembly Process as Required
Repair Broken Components, Install New Machinery, & Perform Emergency Fixes
Troubleshoot & Diagnose Mechanical, Hydraulic, & Pneumatic Issues Using Observation, Testing & Schematics
Work & Collaborate With Other Team Members
Keep Accurate Records of Condition, Repairs & Parts Required to Accurately Estimate Cost of Repair Needed and Record the Data & Pictures on Company Provided IPad
Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines
Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Previous Experience Measuring Bearings, Assorted Parts, & Polishing Reusable Parts on Lathe Required
Must Have Previous Experience With Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanics, Power Tools, Blueprints & CMMs
Must Have Previous Experience Diagnosing, Troubleshooting, Repairing, Observing, & Testing Equipment For Optimal Performance
Ability to Safely Operate Tools With Superb Attention to Detail
Excellent Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting Skills
Effective Communication & Teamwork Skills a Must
